Although London Fashion Week has came to an end, the glitz and glamour has remained. Last night was the Brit Awards which featured performances from Kanye West and Madonna (let's not talk about her incident, though!) My favourite part of these kinds of events isn't the performances or even who wins, but who is wearing what. It's always so exciting to see what celebs are wearing the latest trends on the red carpet. So without further adieu, here's my best dressed list from the 2015 Brit Awards.

LFW AW15: Topshop Unique
Topshop is my all time favourite store and this Topshop Unique AW15-16 collection nailed what every Topshop girl looks for in her winter wardrobe. What makes Topshop Unique so popular is that it's affordable and wearable, making it that much more exciting. So instead of lusting after unaffordable pieces you see on the catwalk, you can actually try and buy them without having to take out a loan.
Retro day-time pieces of chunky roll necks, tartan pinafore dresses and wild flower prints were modelled before the reserved, country girls transformed into ones dressing to party in London. Ruched bodycons, side split skirts and sexy, black lace dresses were the evening pieces to die for.
Faux fur was still to be seen this season, but this time, it was featured heavily on the cuffs of coats and mini dresses (the LFD is still here, woo). Longer, multicoloured faux fur was also featured on boob tubes, bringing that extra shazam to the outfit.
It seems as if designers are still inspired by all things retro, from 60's red velvet, to 80's vinyl flares, so get ready for a fashion flashback.

LFW AW15: Sophia Webster
The craziest carnival has arrived in London, and no I don't mean the kind with scary clowns, but the quirkiest fashion carnival displaying Sophia Webster's AW15-16 designs. This show was one like no other - the costumes, the set, the venue; everything was exciting. If you managed to take your eyes off the weird and wonderful setting for one minute, you'd notice the eclectic range of fabulous, show-stopping shoes. The collection was accurately named 'Freak Like Me' and boy, did every shoe live up to that name.
Leopard print knee-highs, to pom-pom detailed stilettos, to sassy slogans such as 'Sexy Bach' and 'Boss Lady' were intertwined with the usual neon and monochrome edge - perfect for the ultimate, edgy fashionista. You'd definitely turn a few heads walking down the street in a pair of these beauties. My favourite styles from the collection were the butterfly motif shoes. These fantasy shoes have the ability to take you dreamland and back; so precious, pixie-like and elegant.
'I like to design with a bit of sass,' Sophia said. 'A lot of the slogans come from song lyrics I like.' In regards to the pointed courts reading 'Boss Lady', she said 'Haha, that's because people in my office call me the boss lady! I really like to empower women with my shoes, there's nothing else like shoes that make you feel better, stand better, make you slimmer and make your bum look better!'
Could these be the statement shoes of the century?

NYFW: Victoria Beckham Autumn/Winter 2015-16
Victoria Beckham is my ultimate idol and style icon, and her recent autumn/winter 2015-16 Ready-To-Wear collection made me admire her even more so. The show displayed a parade of neutrals, alongside pops of colour which cocooned the silhouette for ultimate comfort. What I mostly loved about the collection, was that it's wearable. In the crazy world of fashion, a lot of pieces are more artistic than wearable, but every eclectic piece designed by Victoria could be worn in a multitude of ways.
'It's about what women really want to wear and how they want their clothes to make them feel,' VB said of the collection in her show notes. The sexy-comfy collection was designed with the woman in mind, thinking about the comfort she desires whilst still looking on trend.
Although designed with comfort in mind, the collection was far from unflattering. With elongating turtlenecks, curved shoulders and elegant drapes, the collection accentuated the soft female silhouette.
Overall, the collection truly encapsulates what autumn/winter dressing is about - comfy yet chic and feminine. Long live the days of over-layering, cosy wraps and floaty skirts are what it's all about in AW15-16.

The Valentine's Gift Guide: For Him, Her and Couples
Valentine's Day is a bit like marmite; you either love it or you hate it. This post is for the people who love it and want to spend a little something to spoil their other half. If you're a bit stuck on what to buy for your loved one, here's a guide full of gifts from sentimental pressies, to simple ones:
For Her
Boys, here's a guide for you because I know how clueless the majority of you are when it comes to buying presents for your lady friend. Give her something she really wants this Valentine's Day because most likely, she is sick to death of Thornton's chocolates.
For Him
There's no other way to put it by then saying that men are easily pleased. This makes it a lot easier to buy presents. I mean, if they really loved you, you could put a bow on your head and they'd be happy... but, here's some gifts nevertheless, to put a smile on their face
