BLOG SALE | BEAUTY & FASHION

So today I'm having a bit of a mini blog sale to get rid of some things I no longer have any use for. It's just a few bits and bobs but I know they're things readers would want rather than flogging them on eBay for pennies! (all makeup will be cleaned and sanitised before sending). Take a look and details of how to buy are at the bottom of the post!

The first is this Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. It's been very popular but I just don't really use it. The only colour I've properly used is 'dirty sweet' - usage can be seen below, however there's still around 3/4 of it left. Looking for around £26* since it's basically brand new bar that one colour!

Next is the Mac Soft and Gentle Highlighter. Also another really popular product but the colour just isn't for me and I no longer use any Mac makeup. Only used twice! Looking for around £18*

Next is Mac Vanilla Pigment. There's 3/4 of the bottle left but it's a gorgeous pigment which I no longer use and I'm sure someone would want it. I've had it ages and it's barely went down. You get loads of use out of it! The only reason it's 1/4 gone is because I accidentally spilled it but if I hadn't, it'd still be practically full despite using it almost everyday! Looking for about £8*

Finally is my gorgeous Balmain x HM High Neck Jumper / Top Size 8. I was so happy I managed to get this however, after wearing it once for 2 hours, I realised it didn't really suit me. I love it and it's a gorgeous piece but it'd look better on someone else. This is SOLD OUT everywhere and is only available on eBay etc for prices up to £150!!! So I'm looking for the RRP of £40* BARGAIN! It's in perfect condition from a smoke-free home and comes with a dust bag. Send me an email for any more pictures as I've used the official image as it looks so much better than any of mine!

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ANY OF THESE ITEMS, EMAIL ME AT STYLESPICE@HOTMAIL.COM OR COMMENT BELOW AND I'LL GET IN TOUCH!

*price does not include P&P

What I Ate Today | Vegetarian

Hi everyone, so today's a bit of a different blog post but I thought I'd mix things up a bit and show you the kind of things I eat in a day for all of you who want some vegetarian meal ideas or are just super nosy. I've been a veggie just over 2 months now and I'm loving it. There's actually so many choices and it's super easy. I'm not trying to preach here but cutting meat out of my diet has made me feel so much better mentally and physically, and it's helping the world. I'd love to go vegan sometime soon but for now, I'll stick with veggie.

So for breakfast I had a smoothie packed full of fruit and veggie. So, in the smoothie there were 2 bananas, 6 large strawberries, a handful of frozen raspberries, a handful of spinach and a tsp of organic matcha powder. This powder is great for boosting your energy levels and can help boost your metabolism. So I cut up all my fruit and popped it in the blender.

Alongside my smoothie, I like to have some lemon water for refreshment and to detox my body.

For Lunch, myself, my Mam and my sister walked over to a pub because who doesn't love pub food? They actually had quite a lot veggie options which made me super happy. I opted for the Mexican-style pasta boats filled with beans, sweetcorn cheese and other stuff. Surprisingly this was part of the healthy menu despite being super carby and cheesy and it only came in at 475 cals. It also came with a side salad and I pinched some of my Mam's chips.

I got a bit peckish around 3pm so I snacked on some strawberries. Here's me really enjoying a strawberry, apparently.

Unfortunately, I had work that night so that meant tea had to be a packed lunch. I was feeling lazy so I threw together a Quorn sandwich with some salad. I was a bit naughty and put some crisps in too. I also took a big 1L bottle of water to work because I'm always so dehydrated. Of course I had to put it in my fave Fiji water bottle.

After work I was so sleepy and my feet hurt so I just wanted to get into bed. I quickly made myself a cup of peppermint tea and had a low fat muller rice as I was a little bit peckish, and hopped straight into bed.

So that's what I ate today (well yesterday but that doesn't have the same ring to it)! Let me know if you liked this post and if you want me to do more of these or I could post some recipes and cooking posts/videos.

Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin to keep updated with my posts!

July Favourites

Happy August guys. Nip and a punch for the first of the month! I can't believe it's August already like where has the time gone? I can't wait for August, though as I have lots planned such as Paris in 18 days for 6 days and then Leeds festival - it's going to be a wild one (when I'm not at work, of course). Here's some of the things I've been loving the past month:

1. My winter cardigan
Yes, I know it's the middle of Summer but be realistic, I live in the UK. July called for a lot of early starts at work when it's still a bit chilly and I want to be in bed so this cosy cardigan has been my ultimate saviour for those cold travels to work.

2. Birkenstocks
I saw someone wearing these at college and I instantly fell in love. They're the cutest things ever and I thought they'd be perfect for Paris when I'm walking around all day. I got these beauties on sale for £29.99 at Footasylum.

3. Mac Spice Lip Liner
I've used so many dupes of this lip liner so I thought it was about time to buy the real thing. I love this colour because it just goes with every lip colour. I like to wear it with Mac's 'Velvet Teddy' or 'Brave'.

4. No. 7 Face Exfoliator
If, like me, you suffer from dull skin then this is your answer. This little miracle in a bottle is a scrub for your face and it brightens it instantly. Use everyday and rinse with water to leave your skin with a healthy glow.

I recently just found this website and instantly I loved the idea of it! Beauty Resource connects individuals with qualified professionals, as well as to provide them with a wealth of information on beauty treatments and information on the latest beauty products. It's so straight-forward, just type in your location and instantly you're matched with qualified beauty professionals (most of which are mobile). I can't wait to try this site out and get my nails done! Head over to http://www.beautyresource.org.uk to get started.

My Summer Goals

It's finally the weekend! Not that I'm doing anything except working but still, it feels nice that it's here. So, this week I've been brainstorming of what I want to do and achieve this Summer so I actually feel like I accomplished something rather than sitting on my arse for 9 weeks. I've seen a few people make these posts so I thought I'd make one and share some of my goals with you all!

1. Eat better
About 2 months ago, I transitioned to a vegetarian lifestyle but I still find myself pigging out on copious amounts of chips, pasta etc. My main goal is to eat healthier with a lot more fruit and veg rather than living on carbs.

2. Spend more time with friends
During Summer, friends can sometimes be pushed away due to other commitments such as work, which is what happens to me. So this year I want to spend as much time as possible with my friends as this could be my last summer with them!

3. Spend more time with family
On that note, I've also been neglecting my family a lot, especially my baby sister so I'd love to spend more time with them and do nice things.

4. Work a lot harder on my blog/youtube
Another thing that gets neglected is my blog and my YouTube. I don't even know why just sometimes I have no motivation or I'm just too lazy but I definitely need to step up my game if I want to make a career out of this some day.

5. Make the most out of my holiday
In a few weeks, I'm heading off to Paris which is my most favourite place in the world. It's so beautiful and romantic. I'm there for 6 days so plenty time to see everything but I just want to have the most amazing time, explore Paris and eat a tonne of croissants.

So there's my main goals for this Summer, nothing too exciting or unachievable so I hope to be able to carry these out over the next few weeks.

What are your summer goals?

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is just less than two weeks away now, and if you're stuck for gift ideas then this post is the one for you. Personally, me and my Mam never do Mother's Day as it usually falls around the time of her birthday so it's kind of a joint thing for us (less presents for me to buy wooo!) But, if you are wanting to get something for your main lady in your life to celebrate her then here's some perfect gifts and other things:

What woman doesn't love a good pampering? For something simple, easy and inexpensive, treat her to some goodies from Lush if you want to get her some eccentric fizzies, or a Shea set from The Body Shop.

Pandora's are the ultimate classic; whether it's the bracelet or just a charm. It's something a bit more meaningful, too. Pandora offer a Mother's Day collection - buy it here.

Marc Jacob's Daisy Dream has a gorgeous, elegant scent, perfect for a lovely little gift.

Make something! If you're on a budget or just want to give her something extra special, do some DIY and make her a gift. Find inspiration here!

If like me, gift's aren't your thing, treat her to a delicious meal at Jamie's Italian. It's my favourite restaurant ever. It's inexpensive but serves amazing, quality food.

There's just a few ideas for you all, let me know in the comment's below what you'll be buying your Mother this year!

If you're a bit stuck on what to buy for your loved one, here's a guide full of gifts from sentimental pressies, to simple ones:

For Her
Boys, here's a guide for you because I know how clueless the majority of you are when it comes to buying presents for your lady friend. Give her something she really wants this Valentine's Day because most likely, she is sick to death of Thornton's chocolates.

Valentine's Gifts For Her

For Him
There's no other way to put it by then saying that men are easily pleased. This makes it a lot easier to buy presents. I mean, if they really loved you, you could put a bow on your head and they'd be happy... but, here's some gifts nevertheless, to put a smile on their face

Valentine's Gifts For Him

To Enjoy Together
And of course, some gifts to enjoy together, because that's what Valentine's Day is all about - spending time together. So, spread the love and have some quality time enjoying gifts as a pair.
