SPRING WISHLIST ♡

It's officially Spring! I've so been looking forward to this season because there's some amazing things in the shops right now. I usually prefer AW clothes to SS but this year I've spotted some gorgeous pieces. I'm really loving pastel pinks and blues mixed in with some crochet and fringing. Soft, airy materials are what I want to be wearing this season - perfect for those sunny days. So here's my spring wish list - let me know in the comments if you spot anything that will be going in your wish list and also, if you've made one of these, send me the link and I'd love to take a look!

Casual Evening

I never post style pictures of myself and this post is a prime example why. I have no idea why but I just look so awkward when I'm in front of the camera! No matter how much I try, I am not photogenic in the slightest. Anyways, I really liked my outfit this night so I thought I'd post it. The dress code was smart casual so I went for some casual jeans and added some heels and a cute wrap top. I will try and post more outfit pictures in the future but I'm not promising anything!

Top - Miss Selfridge £22
Jeans - Topshop £38
Shoes - Dune £69

5 key pieces you NEED this season

Although the weather still may be gloomy (well, it certainly is in the North East), Spring is just around the corner. I can't wait to just slip in to a dress, some sandals and go for a picnic already. Well, if the weather does brighten up, anyways. If you're lucky enough to live somewhere that actually has decent weather then this will be on your agenda. Say farewell to turtlenecks and boots because winter will soon be long gone. Here's 5 key pieces you need this Spring:

1. The Boho Dress
Probably my favourite piece that I'll be living in this spring. As seen on the ChloĆ© catwalk, boho chic  with a touch of vintage is so in this season. Floaty, ditsy dresses are what it's all about.
Asos £36

2. The Suede Skirt
Add a touch of 70's to your look with a retro, suede skirt: versatile and stylish. Pair with some sandals and you're good to go.

Miss Selfridge £65

Mango £44.99

3. The Heeled Sandal
Need a shoe to go with your skirt or dress? Look no further. Zara's SS sandals are on point this year. Seriously, they're killing it. Here's just a few to tickle your fancy but head over to Zara.com to see more!
Zara £39.99

Zara £49.99

Zara £29.99
4. The Denim Dungaree
If you can pull these off, not only am I 100% jealous of you, but these statement pieces are perfect for spring. If it's warm, wear with a bandeau and a cute pair of flats, or if it's a bit nippy - layer it up with a t-shirt underneath. The possibilities are endless with a dungaree.

Urban Outfitters £45

Asos £45

5. The Fringe
Funky, fresh and fabulous - bring edge to any look with a fringe or tassels. Give an added 70's vibe and look amazing - perfect for festivals. How gorgeous does Tamara from TheGlamandGlitter look in her fringe skirt from Supertrash.com ?!

H&M £7.99 (BARGAIN)

They're my Spring key pieces, what are yours? Let me know in the comments!

Mini Beauty Haul

Hey guys! Recently my makeup supply has been running low so of course, that means time for a top up, so I took myself to the shops for a few beauty bits and bobs. It's not much as I didn't need loads, but I picked up some of the essentials to keep me going.

The first thing I picked up was the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette from Superdrug. I haven't actually tried this yet but I've saw a lot of Youtuber's use Sleek so I thought I'd give it a bash. I'm running super low on highlighter at the minute and I thought it'd be nice to get highlighter creams rather than liquid for a change.

Whilst in Superdrug, I spotted this super pretty MUA nail varnish in the shade 'Apricot Candy'. The colour just reminded me of spring/summer so I had to have it. It was only £1 as well so why not?!

Who can resist a 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel products? Certainly not me. I've used the powder for years so I picked another one in the colour 002 Pink Blossom. Usually I get translucent but I had to get the next shade up because I broke the last translucent one in the shop (oops)! Yep, never try carry too much! I'm also a huge lover of their mascara's so I got the new Scandal Eyes Xtreme because they always make your lashes so long and thick. Since it was 3 for 2, I had to choose something else so I got the Match Perfection concealer in shade 010 ivory. I've tried the Match Perfection foundation before and loved it so I thought I'd give this a bash instead of my usual Collection concealer.

Finally, I bought the Mac Pro Longwear Foundation in the shade NC15. I've used the Mac Studio Fix foundation since Christmas time but it ran out and a lot of my friends use the Pro Longwear foundation so I just went for it. I really love the coverage of this foundation and it definitely stays on for ages. Mac is my number one for foundation right now.

So that's everything for now. Do you use any of these products? Let me know in the comments below.

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is just less than two weeks away now, and if you're stuck for gift ideas then this post is the one for you. Personally, me and my Mam never do Mother's Day as it usually falls around the time of her birthday so it's kind of a joint thing for us (less presents for me to buy wooo!) But, if you are wanting to get something for your main lady in your life to celebrate her then here's some perfect gifts and other things:

What woman doesn't love a good pampering? For something simple, easy and inexpensive, treat her to some goodies from Lush if you want to get her some eccentric fizzies, or a Shea set from The Body Shop.

Pandora's are the ultimate classic; whether it's the bracelet or just a charm. It's something a bit more meaningful, too. Pandora offer a Mother's Day collection - buy it here.

Marc Jacob's Daisy Dream has a gorgeous, elegant scent, perfect for a lovely little gift.

Make something! If you're on a budget or just want to give her something extra special, do some DIY and make her a gift. Find inspiration here!

If like me, gift's aren't your thing, treat her to a delicious meal at Jamie's Italian. It's my favourite restaurant ever. It's inexpensive but serves amazing, quality food.

There's just a few ideas for you all, let me know in the comment's below what you'll be buying your Mother this year!
